On Sunday, May 14th, at 7p, OtterPup Productions will bring an amazing show, called ‘Middlebrow Madness’, to the Seattle Substation stage.  This evening of beautiful, artistic, and passionate burlesque will welcome two visiting performers, and allow audiences another opportunity for exciting entertainment.

Enjoy seeing Miss Disa-burly-Tease of Baltimore, Maryland and Freaky Candy of Rimini, Italy, in this rare feature show.  The performance will also feature the talents of Ava D’Jor, Apollo Vidra, Fosse Jack and the OtterPups!  The badass duo of Maggie McMuffin and Vixen Valentine will be co-hosts (and co-panty-bosses) of the evening.  This one-time-only burlesque event is 21+, with tickets $15 in advance and $20 at the door.  Purchase tickets at Brown Paper Tickets.

For those unfamiliar with the Substation, this show is a good excuse to check out the newest music venue in Fremont.  Hidden in far west Fremont, the Substation has plenty to offer audiences as well as aspiring musicians and those who just want to have fun with music.

With Bird House Studio, the Substation offers an on-site recording studio.  They also rent, by-the-hour, rehearsal rooms for musicians.  They have two 16’ x 16’ rooms available for $20 per hour, with guitar half-stacks, a bass rig, a PA with up to 3 microphones and a drum kit (no sticks) included.  They also offer a single 30’ x 20’ room for $25 per hour, with the same outfit options.  Find out more about these opportunities on the Substation Seattle.com website, or ask questions at 206/369-7588 or rehearsal@substationseattle.com

In addition, for those who can’t get enough Karaoke, Substation has teamed up with Baby Ketten Karaoke to create an awesome private room where, for fun or practice, you can access the best Karaoke catalogue in town.  The Karaoke Room can accommodate parties of one to 25+, with hourly rates for the rental (3 hour minimum.)  Find out more information on the Substation Seattle.com website, or ask questions at 206/369-7588 or karaoke@substationseattle.com

The Substation is a 21+ facility, with a full bar on the premises.  Check out the website to find out more about this full service music and entertainment venue, and check out the packed calendar of events.
