On Wednesday, November 8th, from 6p – 8p, The Barrel Thief Wine & Whiskey Bar will celebrate the pouring of their 40,000th glass of wine.  Four years ago this elegant, selective establishment launched an innovative wine program aimed at offering more by-the-glass wine options.

As wine consumers, The Barrel Thief management had grown bored by the same dozen or two wines available by the glass.  Through adoption of the Coravin System, they were finally able to offer all of the 150+ bottles of wine they carry by the glass.  Every wine on The Barrel Thief menu – from Happy Hour specials to GAJA, from Chateau d’Yquem to Cristal – can be sampled by patrons, allowing more opportunities to explore grape varietals, wines from obscure regions and smaller, independent producers.

The Coravin System allows wine to be dispensed from a bottle without removing the cork, thereby protecting the wine from exposure to oxygen.  Bottles can be accessed and stored in pristine condition for months, allowing for access to a wide variety of wine without quality degradation.

On November 8th, come celebrate with:

  • $15 wine tasting flights
  • Coravin demonstrations
  • Door prizes, including a Coravin System
  • A photo booth

Stop by and celebrate this freedom from the financial burden of bottle purchases.  This party is free to attend, although you will want to buy a glass with which to see the Coravin System in action!  Find more details at BThief.com
