Next February, 2018, the Aurora District Friends of Scouting will hold a fundraising breakfast at the Woodland Park Zoo Rainforest Pavilion – and they could use our support.  The breakfast raises money for scouting in North Seattle, through sponsorship and donations made at the event, to send scouts on a sea cruise, camping trips, and teambuilding experiences at Camporee.

The 2018 Scouting Breakfast will feature as keynote speaker Bob Donegan, the CEO of Ivar’s Restaurants, an active philanthropist and Eagle Scout.  Attendees will be able to meet and greet, and grow their networks among many other philanthropists like Donegan.  In fact, at the breakfast, the Aurora District Friends will announce the winner of this year’s ‘Suzie Burke Community Leadership Award’ to someone with irrepressible passion with a purpose for benefiting their neighbors.  Find out about the award, and more about the great work of the Boy Scouts of America, by sponsoring and attending the breakfast.

Contact John Padgett, event staff advisor, about sponsorships or gifts to benefit the Boy Scouts, at206-902-2355 or jpadgett@seattlebsa.org, or to find out about attending this fun, philanthropic breakfast on February 7th from 7a – 8:30a at Woodland Park Zoo.
