On November 15th, Kaosamai Thai posted on its Facebook page that the restaurant is closing its doors.  Signs posted on the converted orange house and on the company website confirm the news.

The delicious, fresh Thai cuisine that Kaosamai has built its reputation on will still be available in the brightly colored food trucks located:

  • Monday – Friday from 11a – 2p on John Street, between Westlake & Terry
  • Mondays at Boren & Republican
  • Thursdays at Starbucks in SODO on 1st Ave S
  • Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Fridays at Boren & Mercer

Chosen Fremont’s Best Business for 2014 by Fremocentrist readers, Kaosamai has been a neighborhood favorite and will be sorely missed.  Hopefully we can lure the food truck to the Center of the Universe in the future – or take road trips to the mobile locations when the cravings come over us!

Farewell Dear Friends!
