In addition to offering spectacular shows, with performers from all over the world, Moisture Festival also brings speakers who can talk on the history, philosophy and silliness that inspires this vaudeville and burlesque showcase.

Consider attending one of the free Tent Talks coming up over the next three weeks, at Hale’s Palladium.  Check out:

  • Tuesday, March 20th at 7:30p – Charly Castors on The Circus:  Fifth-generation circus performer and acrobat, Castors will speak on the history, birth, and development of the circus – and the wide-spread, international ramifications as this form of entertainment took hold, and as it now declines (except in Fremont.)  Castors will explore the differences and similarities between the European and American circus.  The 90-minute presentation will include video, slides and live performances, plus a question-and-answer period.  Reserve a seat to this free event through StrangerTickets.
