On Saturday, October 18th, Doric Lodge #92 held its 122nd Annual Installation of Officers ceremony, at Fremont’s Free & Accepted Masons.

At a public ceremony, the Masons welcomed in a Senior and Junior Warden, and installed, for another year, a Secretary and Treasurer.  In front of his wife, Jeannette, and his mother, Grant D. Cooper accepted the role as Worshipful Master for #92.

After being presented by his mother with the gavel used by his grandfather, a Mason in Idaho, Cooper spoke on his goals for his year as Worshipful Master.  He wants to focus on social services, this year, including helping the homeless who sell ‘Real Change’ newspapers.

With help from members of other, neighboring Masonic Orders, the Doric Lodge completed its installation – and then everyone feasted.  If you want to learn more about the Masons, and our Doric Lodge #92, visit their website.
