On Friday, November 21st, starting at 6:30a, Fremonsters who work, live or simply enjoy Fremont will gather for a fun and fundraising ride for FareStart. Produced by Brooks Sports and evo, this FremontHome Thanksgiving Ride will strengthen and celebrate our community by bringing everyone together, outside, for a healthy bike ride.
Riders will meet, with their bikes, in front of the new Stone Way Café at 6:30a, for fortifications (if needed,) before the group sets off for a casual, sunrise journey to Discovery Park. Riders are encouraged to bring – or give on-line – a donation to FareStart, a non-profit that provides resources and job training to the homeless in Seattle.
We all spend a lot of time here, and we care about this place. The FremontHome Thanksgiving Ride will bring together neighbors and co-workers to connect and enjoy a heightened awareness of the people – the community – around us!
