Until March 31st, the Fremont Arts Council (FAC) is soliciting resumes from anyone interested, and qualified, for a contract position doing fundraising and development for the non-profit organization that produces the world-famous, arts-rich Solstice Parade.

The FAC has a base of financial supporters, known (on a donor database) and unknown, willing and ready to fund the parade.  The fundraising goal is $16,000, and the Fremont community, including area businesses, has historically shown financial support for the FAC.  The Fundraising & Development Staffer would receive $2,500 plus potential bonuses for securing sponsorships and donations for the Solstice Parade, and for drafting a fundraising/development plan.  The Staffer would also be asked to coordinate and train board members and volunteers to assist with targeted fundraising activities, to review and update outreach materials, to prepare Thank You letters and to produce a final report with lessons learned.

The contract position will take time and effort, but it will be instrumental in making the 2015 FAC Solstice Parade happen.  If you can do the work, and want to give generously of your time to this arts extravaganza, please submit your resume now to board@fremontartscouncil.org
