Fall Classes In Ikebana Begin September 2nd or 3rd

This fall, learn the intricate art of Ikebana – creating beauty using nature, containers and a disciplined approach.  Join one class for a single lesson, or plan to attend all seven class, all taught by Charles Coughlan (who has studied for 33-years and is a third-level teacher of the Sogetsu School of Ikebana) and held at NalandaWest.

The first classes of the fall will take place on Wednesday, September 2nd at 7:15p or Thursday, September 3rd at Noon.  These classes can be attended by those solely interested in learning this traditional Japanese form of art, groups of friends interested in sharing this beautiful experience or couples looking for an enriching date night.

The rest of the fall schedule is:

  • September 16th at 7:15p, September 17th at Noon
  • September 30th at 7:15p, October 1st at Noon
  • October 28th at 7:15p, October 29th at Noon

Please feel free to attend every class, on Wednesday or Thursday, or pick and choose dates that work for dropping-in, just RSVP to Charles@hanadesignikebana.com or call 206/789-4226.  The cost for each class is $20 and includes all materials necessary, beyond your imagination and personal taste.  Bring your own container to be able to carry home your creation and enjoy it for the weeks between classes.
