On Friday, April 29th, a dear friend of Fremont and one of its most giving caretakers, passed away.  Mitzi Simons, a familiar face around the neighborhood and winner of awards from the Fremont Chamber of Commerce and the readers of Fremocentrist.com (the 2014 Fremont’s Best Resident) for her generous spirit and dedication to cleaning graffiti from our streets.

On Saturday, May 7th, at 4p, friends will gather at Doric Lodge #92 for a celebration of her life.  The Masons have offered to host the gathering, but attendees have been asked, based on directive from Simons herself, not to bring flowers or gifts.  We have been asked to pass her spirit on to someone else who needs a lift.

Please, help spread the word about this tremendous loss, and the time we will have to celebrate together a very special life.  Everyone is welcome to attend and invited to gather in honor of this Fremont friend.
