The Fremont Arts Council has placed a call for volunteers to serve on two very important teams, supporting our community-based, celebration art organization.  If you have time and guidance to give, please consider aiding our singular, creative and independent arts organization.

Please consider joining:

  • Program & Events Team – Assist in directing community celebration art and events throughout the year, and aid in overall planning, managing and logistics for the Solstice Parade, Luminata Lantern Walk, Troll-o-ween, Petit Troll Parade, May Day and Winter Feast, plus educational workshops and talks.  Meet new friends and build on your knowledge of celebration art while supporting community art.  This team will set schedules, create production manuals and explore new ideas & visions, as well as planning and producing monthly workshops while building a sustainable business plan for Arts Council activities.  Team members need to plan to give up to 10 hours a month, and work collaboratively with other team members.

  • Development & Outreach Team – Support the FACs ability to bring art to Fremont; art that helps our community thrive.  This team will develop and activate a fundraising plan, secure funding through grant writing, and seeking other donor opportunities.  They will also build connections, relationships and communications to strengthen ties within our community, and reach out, building a more diverse, more extended network for the FAC.  The outreach overseen by this team will include social media, website management, publicity, public relations, marketing, and graphic design.  Targeted outreach will expand the FAC membership base and establish more sources of funding to sustain the FAC.  These volunteers should also be available for at least 10 hours per month, and bring an enthusiasm for community art to the team.

The Fremont Arts Council, a 501(c)3 non-profit organization, celebrates life through art, thanks to a welcoming and willing community of volunteers.  The FAC wants to inspire seasoned and aspiring artists, and those who value art in our community.

Volunteers interested in participating in the leading the FAC into its future can apply on the volunteer portion of the Arts Council website.  Specific questions can be directed to volunteer@fremontartscouncil.org
