Over the weekend of June 16th – 18th, the 19th Annual Seattle Art Car BlowOut (SACBO) takes place around our city, primarily in Fremont. The legendary Art Cars will be featured at the Fremont Street Fair over Solstice Weekend, but SACBO is much more.
If you have a vehicle (car, motorcycle, truck, camper, etc.) decorated and painted in an artistic, or simply eclectic fashion, consider joining SACBO! If you know someone with a colorful ‘daily driver’, let them know that they can be a part of the party – and get lots of positive and appreciative attention from the approximately 50,000 visitors to the Art Cars at the Fair.
SACBO is three days of parties, food, beverages and artsy entertainment for the drivers (and one passenger) of the Art Car. It is also three-days spent among others who enjoy decorating and displaying their vehicles as art. Finally, it is three days behind the scenes and in the thick of Solstice Celebrations.
Sign-Up for SACBO through the Seattle Art Car website. Registration is $50 per car, and can include housing in addition to meals, if necessary. Also, scholarships are available. SACBO is the second largest display of Art Cars in North America, and you want your art vehicle to be a part of it!
