Recognized as a leading scholar and expert in African-American cinema, Walker has produced one of the definitive documentaries on the topic of Blaxploitation films. His works in comic books includes Shaft, Power Man and Iron Fist, Nighthawk, The Army of Dr. Moreau, and Number 13. He’s also author of both adult and young adult action/adventure novels, non-fiction works and the indispensable resource guide to black films of the 70s, called BadAzz MoFo.
