On Wednesday, May 3rd, one of Fremont’s newest – and critically acclaimed – restaurants, Thackeray, will host a special multi-course Beer Dinner.  With Matt Lincoln, Director of Brewery Operations for Fremont Brewing, enjoy a carefully curated meal paired with four of the finest local brews.

The meal includes appetizers of pretzel bites, and welsh rarebit, and a first course of crispy pork belly, toasted grain cornbread, and rhubarb condiment, paired with Session Pale Ale.  The second course, of grilled asparagus toast, fresh sheep’s milk cheese, grilled lemon hollandaise, and piment d’espelette, will be paired with Summer Pale Ale.  The third course, including a sausage trio, a mustard flight and house kraut, will be paired with Interurban IPA.  Finally, the dessert of an ice cream sandwich – with maple nut ice cream between oatmeal chocolate-chunk cookies – will go down well with the ever-popular Bourbon Dark Star Stout.

Tickets cost $65 per person, all diners must be 21+, and dinner will begin at 6p.  Find tickets (only a few remain) on-line through the Thackeray / Heavy Restaurants website.
