This summer, all parents can include in their plans for their youngsters two special summer camp options available this year in Fremont.

From July 19th – 21st, in the afternoons (4:30p – 6:30p,) The Hallows Church has organized the fun, high-energy, low-cost Play Dayz Sports Camp on the Upper Playfields at B.F. Day Elementary School.  For children ages 5 – 12, this camp costs only $10 per family and aims to engage area families.  Find out more, including registration details, at playdayzseattle.com

From July 10th – 14th, in the mornings (9a – 12:30p,) Book Larder offers a Kids Cooking Camp focused on ‘A Trip to Italy.’  This first-ever camp will be hosted by Events Chef Amanda Coba, fresh from her extended stay in Italy.  Each day the kids will prepare an entire meal from a different Italian region or city, with campers emerging from the week’s adventure with an exciting collection of dishes.  For ages 8 – 12, this camp is limited to eight participants, and costs $300 – with the registration fees non-refundable.

Please consider looking at one, or both, of these educational and entertaining camps for your kids this summer!
