Next Week, Neighbor Night Out Parties – Attend Or Avoid

On Tuesday, August 1st, many of our neighbors will be hosting, or participating, in Night Out events.  The Seattle Police Department has created a list, and a map, of area gatherings (click here) – for those who want to participate, and those who want to avoid those areas.  Please drive and bike slowly and respectfully through our residential streets on August 1st to keep everyone safe during Night Out.

Join the party, but make sure that if you are driving or biking around the neighborhood, be careful of the people in the streets.

Also on August 1st, at 7p, the Fremont Arts Council (FAC) will be holding a public, official planning meeting for the upcoming Luminata Lantern Walk on September 21st at Green Lake.  This family friendly event welcomes the public to process with lanterns and lights, from the Aqua Theater to the Bathhouse area.  Please consider participating in planning this fun, creative event by attending the meeting and volunteering your skills.  Find more details on the FAC website.
