On Mondays, from 6p – close, Schilling & Co Cider House will host a weekly ‘Drinking & Drawing’ fundraiser for the Fremont Arts Council (FAC,) and the Solstice Parade.
For those 21+, come make art while tasting delicious new ciders from Schilling & Co. For every Schilling Cider purchased, $1 will go to the FAC, a non-profit that produces public performance/celebration art including the legendary Solstice Parade, the luminous Luminata Lantern Walk, the community-based Troll-o-ween, and the upcoming Feast of the Winter Solstice.
The FAC, a nearly-entirely volunteer run organization, struggles to fund its art, particularly as costs increase each year. Come have fun, draw or make art, drink a cleverly crafted local cider, and contribute to the next FAC art celebration.
