The Fremont Chamber of Commerce has issued a last-minute invite for a Walk & Talk on Thursday, August 31st (tomorrow) at 12:30p with front-running Mayoral Candidate Jenny Durkan.
Durkan’s brother, Tim Durkan, served as Fremont’s Department Of Neighborhoods coordinator for many years, and there is reason to believe that the former U.S. Attorney now running for Seattle Mayor might be willing to listen to our neighborhood concerns and issues.
The Walk & Talk will start with the walking portion, beginning at the Fremont Chamber offices above LTD Bar + Grill, at 12:30p. The Talk will be at 1:30p in the Chamber offices. If you would like to attend either, or both, of these events, please RSVP on-line.
