On Sunday, July 23rd, at 6p, Outlander Brewing will be hosting a weekly Open Mic for all genres of performers looking for an opportunity to put themselves in front of an audience, while everyone enjoys Outlander’s great line-up of artisanal beer.
Even the most skilled flower or vegetable gardener outdoors can find themselves perplexed and befuddled by their efforts to grow potted plants indoors. On Saturday, July 22nd, at 10a, Urban Earth (located at 1051 N 35th St,) will offer another of its basic classes in horticulture care with a free Houseplants 101 session.
This Thursday, July 20th, Fremont’s best boutiques and retailers will offer opportunities for savvy shoppers (and everyone who wants to explore more of the neighborhood,) during the monthly Third Thursday event.
On Friday, July 28th, from 4p – 6p, learn and explore more of Fremont with a special, one-day only tour of three of the most iconic spaces at the Center of the Universe. Atlas Obscura Field Agent Megan Hanna will lead a small group of intrepid explorers among three stops, where representatives will share rarely disclosed information about these particular organizations.
On Thursday, July 20th, from 5p – 7p, take a moment to stop and check out the new multi-specialty UW Physicians Northwest clinic.
Next week, on Tuesday, July 18th, from 6p – 8p, three local business networking organizations – the Fremont Chamber of Commerce, the Wallingford Chamber of Commerce and the U District Partnership – will be co-hosting a Tri-Chamber BBQ at University House. Right now, the Fremont Chamber is also accepting sign-ups for the 2017 Fremont Wiffleball Universe Classic.
On Monday, July 17th, at 6:30p, the City of Seattle Department of Construction and Inspection will host a public meeting on Design Review of a proposed development for 3623 Fremont Ave N. The meeting will take place in the Ballard Community Center, in the Sunset/Captain Ballard Room, at 6020 – 28th Ave NW.

On Sunday, July 16th, from 7p – 10p, Outsider Comics & Geek Boutique will host a Back Page Murder Mystery for 13 players, called ‘The Marriage of True Minds Murder Mystery.’
On Thursday, July 13th, the elegant little Barrel Thief Wine & Wiskey Bar will honor all of their fantastic customers, neighbors, vendors, producers, and staff with a day-long bash!
