On Tuesday, March 6th, from 5:30p – 7:30p, at the Fremont Branch Library, the ‘Your Voice, Your Choice’ team will host a public meeting to allow us to choose which street and park projects will be funded in our district.
On Saturday, March 3rd, at 3:30p, Dusty Strings will be hosting a special concert for school-aged kids. The indie-roots band, West My Friend, will perform an interactive concert allowing the students to write and perform a song with the band.
Urban Earth Nursery is open now, after a brief winter hiatus, with show-stopping blooms and evergreen plants to bring a pop of color to winter gardens all around Fremont. Plan for that sunny day – it is coming – or get help designing some soul-cheering containers.
On Tuesday, February 27th, at 7:30p, Seattle Pacific University will host an evening of prayers, black spirituals, and ecumenical readings with the Gospel Choir led by Music Professor Stephen Michael Newby.

Our public elementary school, B.F. Day, depends on volunteers to get a lot of stuff done. Please know that all help, whatever the magnitude, is noticed, appreciated and needed.
On Saturday, February 24th, from Noon – 3p, Woodland Park Zoo welcomes the Seattle Rose Society for its annual rose pruning demonstration in the Rose Garden. This free, educational presentation offers everyone opportunities to ask questions and gain insight on how to care for roses, whether a veteran gardener or a curious wannabee.
