On Saturday, December 14th stop by Dusty Strings for the annual Holiday Open House and celebrate 40 years of this innovative and artisanal small business.
With thanks to its loyal customers, community business partners, and stellar staff, Dusty Strings wants everyone to share in this celebration! The annual Open House is a tradition of live music, hot apple cider, and other treats, but this year will hold added festiveness and joy.
In honor of the 40th Anniversary, four beloved local musical acts will perform throughout the Open House:
- 12:30p – Greg & Jere Canote (The Canote Brothers)
- 2p – Sundae + Mr. Goessl
- 3:30p – SuperSones
- 5p – Casey MacGill
In addition to all of these reasons to celebrate, Dusty Strings has added a special Winter Solstice concert – on Saturday, December 21st, SeaMuse will return to perform starting at 7:30p. The four friends of SeaMuse – Stanley Greenthal, Cristos Govetas, Kip Greenthal, and Kim Goldov – love to share traditional music from the regions of Greece, Turkey, and the Balkans. SeaMuse also shares songs and instrumentals from Brittany and England. Celebrate the Solstice with these songs about love, the challenges of our times, and memories in this annual concert on the longest night of the year. Tickets cost $20 in advance ($25 at the door,) and can be purchased at Dusty Strings.
The Dusty Strings Holiday Open House & 40th Anniversary Celebration is free to attend, and a not-to-be-missed opportunity to visit this landmark Fremont business.
