You’ve seen it – the beautiful, colorful mural along 46th Street lining the north retaining wall under the Aurora Bridge overpass.  This playful mural, designed by artist Todd Lown and installed by an ambitious effort by neighbors in the area, remains bright, clean and well-maintained even four years after its dedication in August 2010.

This is due entirely to the continued efforts of neighbors, and the original financial donations given to the project.  Due to careful caretakers, money set aside has gone to regular maintenance and emergency repair following vandal attacks.

Now, a new sustainability drive has started to raise enough to do care and upkeep of the 46th Street Mural for another five years.  Any amount will help! Please, visit the GoFundMe site, and consider giving – and sharing this news with everyone.

Art in Fremont lives, but only if we continue to support and maintain these incredible enhancements!
