Agenda Posted for February Fremont Neighborhood Council Meeting

FNCLogoThe February meeting of the Fremont Neighborhood Council (FNC) is next Monday, the 24th, at 7p at Doric Temple #92.  The meeting is open to all Fremont neighbors.

This month, among other things, there will be a discussion of the topic/guest speaker to be scheduled for the upcoming annual general meeting in April.  If there is a particular person, or community based topic, you want to hear, please attend the meeting next week and lend your ideas to the discussion.

In addition, the February meeting will feature Seattle Department of Transportation status updates by Jonathan Dong on the Aurora RapidRide E Line, and Mike Morris-Lent on pedestrian crossing enhancements for N 41st and Stone Way.

FNC Board President Stephanie Pure has also scheduled time for a recap on the Cheers To Chambers business exposition, and for active participation by all who want to help with the membership drive mailing.  The February FNC meeting will, of course, also include introductions, announcments, and committee reports – specifically on Land Use, Transportation, and the Lake Union District Council.

Membership in the FNC is not necessary to participate in the monthly meetings, although joining (or renewing) is easy on the FNC website.  Member or not, consider participating in this informative and public discussion.
