On Tuesday, November 11th, the National Veteran’s Day holiday, Woodland Park Zoo has offered free entry to all active, retired, and veteran U.S. military personnel and their spouses with valid service identification.

They’ve served, they’ve defended, they’ve protected, they’ve sacrificed, and Woodland Park Zoo salutes them. In honor of those who put themselves at risk in service to their community and country, the zoo extends free admission.

The Veteran’s Day discount cannot be combined with other offers or zoo discounts. The Veteran’s Day discount is available at the zoo entry ticket windows only. It is not available on-line.

Remember, from 11a – 2p, daily, for $5 visitors at the Zoo can feed the Humboldt penguins a handful of tasty fish, and experience these endangered birds up close! Also, check out the cheetahs, Missy and Liz, before they leave the Zoo on November 23rd.
