On Wednesday, May 23rd, from 6p – 8p, The Barrel Thief Wine & Whiskey Bar will host its weekly wine tasting, this time featuring two labels and welcoming two wine experts. The tasting is 21+, and costs $10, payable at the door.
Meet Henry Smilowicz, the Chardonnay specialist for Array Cellars, and Brian Carter, of Brian Carter Cellars, at The Barrel Thief on May 23rd. Learn about these two premiere Washington wineries, and taste the fine bottles they’ve brought to share.
The tasting will include:
- ‘Corrida’ Rioja Blend ($34) by Brian Carter Cellars
- ‘Celilo Vineyard’ Chardonnay ($32) by Array Cellars
- ‘Abracadabra’ Rose of Sangiovese ($25) by Brian Carter Cellars
- ‘Dijon Clone’ Chardonnay ($32) by Array Cellars
- ‘Tuttorosso’ Super Tuscan ($34) by Brian Carter Cellars
- ‘Nina’s Reserve’ Chardonnay ($36) by Array Cellars
- ‘Le Coursier’ Bordeaux Blend ($40) by Brian Carter Cellars
It’s an incredible opportunity to sample, and ask, about these Washington wines. The cost is only $10 to try all eight wines, although the tasting fee will be refunded with purchase of three bottles or more of the featured wine.
While at The Barrel Thief, it is always possible to sample from an amazing array of wines, whiskeys and other select spirits – along with tasting from a small, specialty menu of delicious delectables.
