On the first Friday of September, the 7th, from 6p – 9p, the Fremont Art Walk returns to decorate our community with original artists – and a chance to meet the talented people who create these beautiful works of whimsy.
Art can be found all around the Center of the Universe, any day, but on the First Friday a select collection of venues put works on display, and invite us in to meet the creators and check out the art. Please check the new FFF website to find the latest participating venues, but make sure, in September 2018, to stop by:
- Outsider Comics & Geek Boutique – Check out a special display of pyrographic magnets and soaps by the local Basic Green Witch.
- Portage Bay Goods – The creative gift shop will feature works by local designer, illustrator and comic artist Elaine Lin.
- Frame Up Studios – Fremont favorite, Eli Wolff, returns to the FFF with more of his original, colorful paintings. With a seemingly endless supply of inspiration, Wolff’s distinctive style creates paintings that simultaneously provoke and amuse.
Check out the entire list of participating venues in September on the SquareSpace website (click here,) as created by Portage Bay Goods. Look also, in the coming months of Fremont First Friday Art Walk, for new galleries and venues being added, including The Uncommon Cottage, Sfingiday, and Fremocentrist’s Down Under Gallery.
