The Seattle Pacific University will present ‘Before The Eclipse’ in the McKinley Hall Theatre from January 31st – February 2nd. Tickets are available now for purchase to any of the 7:30p performances, and the single matinee, at 1p, on Feb 2nd.
Under the direction of SPU Theatre Department Professor Andrew Ryder, ‘Before The Eclipse’ will revel and rail in the comedy of life, as presented in some of Anton Chekhov’s funniest short plays. From proposals to town meetings, from family squabbles to ceremonies and celebrations, these ‘jokes’, as Chekhov described them, capture the foibles and frustrations of the modern world.
Tickets to ‘Before The Eclipse’ cost $15 for adults, $12 for seniors (age 60 and older,) and $12 for students (age 25 and under) with valid identification. Tickets can be purchased in advance (click here,) or at the door. Parking is free, during performances, in the Dravus parking lot.
