On Tuesday, February 19th, at 6:30p, the annual Moisture Festival Volunteer Orientation drive and party will take place at Hale’s Palladium.  This is the very best way to get in on volunteering for this community-building spectacular.  It’s also one of the most fun and festive events of this season as MF veterans and novices mix and mingle and celebrate the start of the world-famous vaudeville showcase – coming on March 14th.

Attend the Volunteer Orientation to become a part of the dynamic ‘family’ that produces Moisture Festival.  Learn specifics about the 2019 showcase, details about the volunteer positions available this year, and meet the organizers and department leaders.  Yet, as much as this is an informational meeting, it is really a chance to socialize and celebrate the coming season of Moisture!  Let’s get this party started!!

Sign-up for volunteering at Moisture Festival is done on Shiftboard, and information can be found on the MF volunteer page (click here.)  However, the Volunteer Orientation on Feb 19th is the best place to talk to team members and get a feel for what roles need filling, and where your skills can be put to the best effect – or simply what would be the most fun for you to do.

Of course, if you cannot attend Orientation, it does not preclude you from volunteering.  Everyone signed-up on Shiftboard will receive a recap from Orientation, for all the last-minute, updated info.  However, shifts will not go live on Shiftboard until the night of volunteer orientation so the best way to get the best shifts is at Orientation on February 19th at Hale’s Palladium.  RSVP for the Volunteer Orientation on the MF Facebook page (click here,) although reservations are not required for attendees.

Find out more, about volunteering and the upcoming Moisture Festival shows (tickets are available now!) on the MF website (click here.)  Moisture Festival welcomes performers from all around the world to Fremont, and as a volunteer you can see live, one-time-only shows for free!  An opportunity almost too good to be true!
