On Saturday, April 20th, at 8a, the Tenacious Ten 10K and 10-Mile race takes off from Gas Works Park, with approximately 2,500 fabulous runners and spectators. The beautiful 10K circles Lake Union, and the 10-Mile goes to Ballard, and back. Show how tenacious you can be, and register now to be a part of these exciting runs.
Snohomish Running Company and Oiselle apparel are bringing the Tenacious Ten to Gas Works park, and Fremont. Everyone is invited to join in, either as a runner or as cheering spectator standing at on of the themed cheer stations. Volunteers are also needed, to help organize the event – and support the work of Heifer International, the Tenacious 10 charity partner.
Volunteers will be assigned to the Start/Finish line, gear check, garbage gurus, course monitors, lead cyclists, aid stations, food guards, or tear down heroes. Best of all, volunteers contribute, through giving of their time and energy, to support of the mission of Heifer International to end global hunger and poverty, and care for the earth.
