Okay, so Fremont is getting two more places to eat, and we hope they are both as yummy as they promise, but that will be up to diners to decide.
The great news came from Facebook, and a banner strung on the large patio, that Kaosamai Thai Restaurant will re-open in their original location. This means that any hope for a return of Ounce Of Prevention, which never re-opened after an arsonist damaged the building on December 24th, is gone. However, for a community still mourning the loss of Kaosamai in 2017, the news is fabulous! No date for a re-opening has been posted, but work is underway to clean up the space.
Today, June 14th, Fremont is given its very own Mod Pizza location, with the ribbon cut by manager Lindsay. Build-your-own pizza and/or salad now at 3411 Fremont Avenue N, in the former Blue C Sushi site. Open from 10:30a – 11p Friday & Saturday (until 10p, Sun – Thu,) Mod offers over 30 toppings for creating the perfect pizza, whatever that is for you.
June is Fremont Month, and always a great time to come see what is going on now at the Center of the Universe. Now there are just two more reasons to spend the summer here!
