The retail and office building under construction at N 36th & Phinney Ave N, nicknamed the ‘Cedar Speedster’, has work coming up over the weekend of July 27th & 28th on N 36th St.

The work will NOT require complete closure of the arterial street, but it may narrow it down significantly.  The construction crew will be doing road repair across N 36th St, a section at a time, working their way back to the building.  A police officer will be on-site, as well as multiple flaggers, to aid in directing traffic.

Work will begin at 7a on Saturday, July 27th, until 6p.  The work will be done in sections, moving as work moves, so there is no guarantee about when and where the work will be going on.  As with all the work on this project, the crews will be attempting to complete the work as quickly as possible, but if it cannot be done in a single day, it will continue between 1p and 9p on Sunday, July 28th.

Please consider amending your travel plans through the area of N 36th & Phinney Ave N, if you can, to avoid making the traffic troubles worse.
