Over the weekend of September 20, 21 & 22, the Fremont Oktoberfest will offer up samples from 100s of craft breweries, while raising funds for the Fremont Chamber of Commerce to support our community. How do thousands of beverage samples get poured in just three days? By the hard work, and willing draft pulling, of 700+ volunteers!
Of course, those volunteers (sign-up online) don’t walk away with just some great karma! They also get all sorts of goodies…
- Free admission to Fremont Oktoberfest (at another time) plus seven tasting tokens
- Free ride down the Alpine slide
- Free cool, commemorative Fremont Oktoberfest (FOKT) t-shirt
On Saturday, September 21st, the celebration at Fremont Oktoberfest ramps up and the greatest party happens – for both the participants and the volunteers. Those who volunteer for four hours on Saturday night will get even more:
- More Beer! Get free admission for both Friday & Sunday, plus ten tokens
- More Slides! Get unlimited slides down the Alpine
In addition to all this swag, this year Fremont Oktoberfest volunteers are eligible for a bonus gift – Anytime Fitness of Fremont, Queen Anne and Snoqualmie will help ‘Make Healthy Happen’. All volunteers will receive a free trial membership and a free one-hour personal training session. All volunteers will get seven days of membership, and Saturday night volunteers get one-month!
Seattle’s largest beer festival, for everyone 21+, features beer, cider, seltzer and Kombucha, available in mini-mugs, steins and boots. Plus, Fremont Oktoberfest is made more special by the addition of a wild selection of games and activities including axe throwing, the Texas Chainsaw Pumpkin Carving, Street Scramble, the CityDog magazine cover dog model contest, Seattle Fly Dogs, and watching the Huskies and Seahawks play.
Volunteers at Fremont Oktoberfest can sign-up through the official website link. For those who cannot volunteer, this year, tickets are still on sale (click here.)
