On Thursday, October 10th, from 9:30a – 11:30a, there will be a special informational breakfast at the Wallingford Community Senior Center (which serves Fremont as well) about the Phinney Neighborhood Association’s Village program. The Village provides a network of support, including volunteer services, social engagement, and trusted business referrals, to provide a framework that allows people to remain in their homes, and the neighborhoods they love, while staying active and engaged.
The PNA Village is expanding into the neighborhoods of Fremont, and Wallingford, and volunteers are being sought along with those who require assistance or opportunities for social activities. This program connects members who need assistance with volunteers who can provide transportation, minor home repairs, social connections, garden work, and much more!
Learn about the PNA Village program at the breakfast, during the fun and interactive question & answer session. Enjoy the free breakfast, or just stop by to get information and a quick bite. Whatever you decide to do, please RSVP so they know how much food to prepare, to village@phinneycenter.org or 206-789-1217.
