On Friday, October 18th, at 7:30p, Dusty Strings’ will host its first fall concert with the acclaimed John Reischman and the Jaybirds. Hear their stylish take on bluegrass, seamlessly blending original songs and instrumentals with Appalachian old-time music, for a truly unique band sound.
Now in their 20th year of performing together, John Reischman and the Jaybirds have produced seven albums, yet they remain innovative and unadorned. Bluegrass Unlimited magazine calls John Reischman, “one of the world’s undisputed masters” of the mandolin, and famed for his outstanding tone and taste. Dusty Strings is thrilled to be able to bring John, and the Jaybirds, back to Seattle for this special evening!
