Designed by Camarc Design, U.K., the all-aluminum vessel will be powered by Detroit Diesel engines and Rolls Royce Kamewa waterjets as propulsors to allow excellent maneuverability and a top speed exceeding 40 knots.  The boat will have an overall length of 44.5’, with delivery scheduled for April 2012.

In early October 2011, Kvichak also announced recent delivery of another of their 30’ Rapid Response Oil Skimming vessels to Argus Limited of Rockville, Maryland to provide front line spill response capability in the Russian Federation.
