This Saturday, November 5th, from 2p – 3:30p, three published poets will each share a sample of their work at the Fremont Branch of the Seattle Public Library. This free program, sponsored also by the Washington Poets Association, allows Fremonsters a chance to hear the quality poetry of David Mason, Judith Roche and David Horowitz.
Mason, originally from Bellingham, was named Poet Laureate of Colorado in 2010. Roche teaches at Richard Hugo House and for Jack Straw Productions, and was a Distinguished Northwest Writer-In-Residence at Seattle University in 2007. Horowitz founded Rose Alley Press, and he won the PoetsWest Achievement Award in 2005.
Come meet these poets, and hear their words, as part of ‘Poetry In Fremont.’ For more information call the Fremont Branch at 206/684-4084 or use the Seattle Public Library ‘Ask A Librarian’ feature.
