In February, Fremonsters can help celebrate the 1-year mark of two area businesses.  While small businesses struggle with the tough economic atmosphere, let’s rejoice in two enterprises that have successfully survived the rough first year!

On Wednesday, February 1st, from 6p – 9p, Pel’meni Russian Dumpling Tzar invites fans and friends to celebrate 1-year of serving dumplings.  Owner Jesse Parry promised live music and samples of the new side salads being added to the menu in February.  She also said there will be cake.

Married couple Jesse and Zach Parry began the business a year ago, serving delicious dumplings made by a partner company out of Bellingham.  They started sharing the kitchen, and serving late night hours.  Over the year, they’ve expanded into the space, added lunch and will remodel the space to make it work better for their growing business.  Come meet this enterprising couple, and celebrate the 1st year of the Dumpling Tzar.

On February 9th, to the music of Marmalade, White Rabbit will celebrate its 1st anniversary as ‘Seattle premier music café.’  White Rabbit replaced Tost, a popular nightclub where Marmalade started their weekly jam sessions nine years ago.  Come hear the groove, and celebrate a first year for White Rabbit starting at 9p.  Cover charge only $6.
