Starting this Friday, March 9th, see the Live Girls! World Premiere presentation of S.P. Miskowski’s ‘Emerald City’ at West Of Lenin theatre.
This haunting love letter/break-up note to Seattle examines our city’s ever-changing cultural identity. Miskowski connects the past and the present as she weaves together history and a personal tale of longing, urban identity and change in this story, told with sardonic humor.
“I first discovered S.P. as a writer when I saw her show The Red Room at Hugo House back in 2001,” wrote A.J. Epstein, owner of West of Lenin, “To say I was stunned and haunted by the show is an understatement. So, when Live Girls! approached us last year about doing an S.P. show here at West of Lenin, I said yes right away.”
The show runs March 9 through April 7, 2012, on Fridays and Saturdays at 8pm – with two extra performances on March 17th at 2pm and March 19th at 8pm. Order tickets now, through Brown Paper Tickets, and use the discount code ‘get the worm’, to pay only $12 per ticket. This offer ends at Noon on Friday, March 9th. Don’t miss out on this opportunity!
