Registration remains open for the two 12-week classes on ‘The Artist’s Way’ by Julia Cameron, an international bestselling book on the subject of creativity. The classes are being offered, through the Seattle Artist’s Way Center, either on Mondays at 6:30p, starting May 14th, or Fridays at 10:30a, starting May 11th, and taught at Present Sense (at 4131 Woodland Park Avenue.)
This workshop offers an incredibly opportunity to tap into your creative side, for benefits both professionally and personally. Over the 12 weeks, students will cover the 12 chapters of the book with an emphasis on the accompanying exercises from the book as well as creativity activities done in class. Instructor Kate Gavigan, with co-instructor Cyndi Brown assisting on Fridays, will lead the participants in exercises to awaken your creativity and artistic capacities. The series costs $375.
Each class will be limited to 11 students, and lasts two hours. Detailed notes can be provided for those classes registered students miss, for any reason. For more information on the class series, and the instructors, visit the Seattle Artist’s Way Center website.
