Fremont Baptist Church Volunteers Give Generously For Food Bank

Every year, during the Fremont Fair, the Fremont Baptist Church congregation organizes two fundraisers for the local area food bank. This year 36 volunteers gave, with extreme generosity, of their time to help raise $1,021 for the local food bank.

Fremont Baptist engages the community, and asks for donations, in two ways. They have a booth at the Fair, the Orange Booth, located at the foot of the Red Door staircase, where they serve coffee (10 pounds over the weekend,) water and lemonade.

The primary fundraiser, however, is the parking lot on the church property, where they parked cars for a ‘modest donation,’ as Pastor Judy Gay noted in the Church monthly newsletter.

To find out more about the great work of the Fremont Baptist Church, visit the website or stop by on Sundays at 10:30a for worship. Everyone is welcome!
