The Seattle Department of Planning & Development has reported updates on two pending permit applications for major projects in Fremont.

Comments will be accepted through January 9, 2013 on a change of use for six vacant residential (artist’s studio dwellings) units to retail and office at 154 N 35th St.  This is part of the remodel of the former Fremont Foundry by its new owners.  View more details on this application on-line.  Written comments are encouraged, and may be submitted to Department of Planning & Development, Attn: Public Resource Center, 700 – 5th Ave Ste 2000, P.O. Box 34019, Seattle, WA 98124-4019 or fax to 206/233-7901.

A notice of decision has been issued for development of a four-story structure containing 167 residential units, with four live-work units and parking for 133 vehicles below grade, at 3635 Woodland Park Ave N.  This project passed Design Review, conditionally, on November 5, 2012, and will be given a Master Use Permit if no appeals are filed.  Find more information about this project on-line.
