The popular workshop that emphasizes free expression and creativity will be offered on Whidbey Island from April 11th – 14th. For those who have enjoyed ‘The Painting Experience’ when offered in Fremont in the fall, or those who’ve wanted to attend but couldn’t find time for it in October, sign-up now for an opportunity to spend 2 ½ days being inspired.
For nearly two decades, Stewart Cubley has influenced the creativity of thousands of people using painting as a tool for self-discovery. Cubley is co-author of the book “Life, Paint and Passion: Reclaiming the Magic of Spontaneous Expression.”
“You don’t need any prior art experience or training to participate in this workshop,” says Cubley, “only the willingness to explore through color, shape or form. It is designed to be a sanctuary where you can explore creativity without the pressure of performance, a place of refuge from the voices of criticism and judgment.”
The 2½ -day workshop takes place at Freeland Community Hall, 1515 Shoreview Avenue on Whidbey Island. The cost is $485 plus $35 materials fee (all materials are supplied). Discounts may apply and scholarships are available. New students can also request a free copy of Life, Paint and Passion: Reclaiming the Magic of Spontaneous Expression.
