Registration has opened for volunteer shifts at the 2013 Fremont Fair. The 42nd Fair will celebrate Fremont, on June 21, 22, & 23, with the community set to take to the streets with live music, adult beverages, crafts, art cars, and several hundred vendor booths. Volunteers play an important part in making this a merry time for all – and you can help!
What’s in it for you? Well, besides having a great time and doing good, volunteers also get –
- A commemorative Fremont Fair volunteer t-shirt courtesy of The Seattle Times
- Two drink tickets for use in the beer gardens (for volunteers ages 21+)
- A chance to raise money to support Solid Ground and the Fremont Chamber of Commerce in their missions to improve our community
- Meet really cool people – like you – who volunteer their time
Volunteers staff the merchandise & information booths, but they also have the option of several other tasks. Consider:
- Postering (pre-event)
- Production
- Pouring beverages
- Greeter
- Dog Parade monitor
Just remember, preferred shifts and positions go quickly, so sign up soon if you are choosy…
Volunteers sign-up using Shiftboard. Of course, if you have any questions about volunteering – or anything Fremont Fair – contact the producers at Bold Hat Productions, and volunteer@boldhatproductions.com
