On Wednesday, May 15th, from 6:30p – 8:30p, Book Larder will host a class based on the book, ‘Pretzel Making at Home,’ taught by author Andrea Slonecker.  The Portland-based Slonecker will help DIY bakers make their own crunchy, chewy, savory, or sweet artisan pretzels.  Her book offers 50 recipes that conceives of every way to shape, fill and top these new twists on an old favorite – pretzels warm from the oven.

This hands-on class will also include hand-crafted bratwurst from neighboring Dot’s Delicatessen and locally brewed beer.  Also, attendees can get a signed copy of the book to prepare for your own pretzel making party this summer.
