Live Local Poetry To Start The New Year At The Fremont Library

On Monday, January 6th, at 6:30p, the Fremont Branch of the Seattle Public Library will welcome three local poets – Jessica Gigot, Ann Batchelor Hursey and Sigrun Susan Lane –

This free, quarterly program is presented in partnership with Floating Bridge Press.  All three poets will read their own works, as well as discussing their poetry.

Gigot, a horticulturalist, writer, potter and musician, lives on a small farm in the Skagit Valley.  Batchelor Hursey’s works have appeared in several publications, and in “Fire On Her Tongue: An eBook Anthology of Contemporary Women’s Poetry.”  Lane has also been published in multiple publications, including Albatross, Calyx, Crab Creek Review and Malahat Review.

For more information, call the branch at 206/684-4084 or Ask a Librarian.

Hope to see you there!
