Explore the possibilities for your preschooler at the Fremont Community School.  Now providing a quality curriculum, inspired by Waldorf, for children ages 2-1/2 to 5, FCS will hold two open houses for parents to see the school and talk with the educators.  On Sunday, January 26th from 3p – 5p and on Wednesday, February 5th, from 6p – 8p, families can come find out more about the opportunities available for the next school year.

Fremont Community School is a non-profit preschool that provides explorative play-based education, emphasizing the emotional and physical development of the students.  Learning about themselves, their environment and social interactions, the children can develop their own joy and a love for knowledge.  The school, located in an old farmhouse, has a pig, named Oliver, and chickens.  Teachers work along-side the children, taking advantage of teachable moments, as well as encouraging creative expression.  The school has two teachers and two assistants, providing a ratio of 1:7.5.

Meet the teachers, and learn more about this warm and wonderful preschool program by reserving a space at an open house, either January 26th or February 5th.  Applications for the 2014/15 school year are due February 7th.  Reserve a space at the open house, or find out more information, by contacting School Administrator Teresa Donovan at 206/547-40545 or fcs.teresa@gmail.com
