Limited Time Remaining To See Amazing & Outrageous Live Theater

Doubt-Postcard-1-238x350Only one week remains for the touring shows of ‘Frank Olivier’s Twisted Cabaret’ and the ‘I Hate Children’ Children’s Magic Show, both appearing at Hale’s Palladium.  Two weeks remain for the Stone Soup Theatre production of John Patrick Shanley’s ‘Doubt, A Parable.’  Yet, like all live theater, once these shows close – that’s it!

The ‘I Hate Children’ magic show is a one-hour display of magic mastery by Paul Nathan, and whatever children volunteer to step on stage and help him perform his clever tricks.  This U.S. Premiere is being performed only at weekend matinees – 1p & 3p on Saturdays, and 1p on Sundays – through February 23rd.  Find tickets through the ‘I Hate Children’ website.

‘Frank Olivier’s Twisted Cabaret’ is, indeed, a bit of twisted vaudevillian genius.  Olivier delighted Seattle audiences in May 2013 with his Cabaret, but he’s reworked the show, and incorporated our own aerialist Lara Paxton into his hijinks.  With Paul Nathan, Olivier will delight, disgust and demand audience attention, at shows Thursday – Sunday through February 23rd.  Find tickets through the ‘Twisted Cabaret’ website.

Finally, while running through March 1st, the Stone Soup Theatre staging of ‘Doubt’ deserves careful consideration, and time to savor.  Book tickets now to this production of a powerful yet nuanced drama, directed by Maureen Hawkins and starring Maureen Miko, Jaryl Draper, Eva Abram and Reagan Dickey.  Purchase tickets through the Stone Soup Box Office at 206/633-1883 or through Brown Paper Tickets.

Live theater is a special treat, and a rare opportunity.  Please, do not let these pass you by, again.
