Using Kickstarter crowd-sourcing, a local filmmaker hopes to raise $10,000 to fund his second short film, ‘Mystic Coffee II’. “Mystic Coffee is about finding your authentic self and taking action to step up your life in a number of meaningful ways,” says writer, director and producer Jeff Leisawitz, “It’s also about a sexy superhero barista with a kick ass magic ring.”
A film meant to inspire people to become the best version of themselves, and find happiness, peace and fulfillment, Leisawitz hopes to get the movie made – with help of Kickstarter donations – and distribute it for free viewing. The proposed film is a sequel to an 11-minute short film, “Mystic Coffee,” which debuted in January on GaiamTv.com, the leading conscious media video-on-demand service.
