On Sunday, April 27th, from 10a – 1p, the Friends of Fremont Peak Park will celebrate Earth Week with a clean-up of one of Fremont’s most treasured parks. Come admire the flowering quince, and stay to help clean up the beds and possibly plant sword ferns.
Tools and gloves can be provided, but willing hands are in short supply. Please join in with the volunteers that keep Peak Park neat and clean, and an entirely volunteer, community-based open space. If you can’t garden, consider bringing the hard-working volunteers a snack – or two.
Finally, if you can’t (or can) make it – could you please help spread the word about this effort? Fremont’s Peak Park is maintained by all of us, working together. RSVP if you plan to attend – at info@fremontpeakpark.org
