On Sunday, July 20th, the Fremont Neighborhood Council and our new neighbors at Patrick Place Apartments will host a community clean-up and celebration from 1p – 6p. Thanks, in part, to a Neighborhood Matching Fund Grant from the Seattle Department of Neighborhoods.
Gather at Patrick Place Apartments (4251 Aurora Ave N – the former Thunderbird Motel site,) for coffee and directions at 1p. For two hours, crews will pick up trash, clean up the 46th Street Mural and the Aurora Bridge Mural, and make our neighborhood brighter!
From 4:30p on, live music, an open mic, refreshments and fellowship will be provided back at Patrick Place. Performers scheduled to appear include The Shifters, a Northwest band that plays a mix of blues, rock & funk. Tickets to the party will only be made available to those generous volunteers who work with clean-up crews around Fremont from 1p – 3p.
Register to attend on Facebook, or e-mail fawn.seattle@gmail.com for more information. Also, help spread the word – working with friends and family makes the work more fun, and go faster!
